The list largely does not include self-published works, and contains texts that are aimed at children upwards which are predominantly text (as opposed to picture books). This list was compiled by trawling texts and lists and compiling as much data as possible, and as far as I know is the most comprehensive list of novels which feature a character with autism that is publically available. The list also contains updates to the two major diagnostic manuals for context. The following list contains English language works (excluding translations) that include at least one character who is explicitly identified as having autism.
